Fall Protection Training (Hands-On)
SFT-141
Class size: 10-16
Course length: 1 day
The course includes both theory and practical hands-on experiences in Fall Protection using approved equipment, while reviewing the risks associated with work performed above ground level or whenever a fall could cause injury. The application of devices to prevent or “arrest” such falls is discussed in detail. Most commonly-used fall arrest equipment is demonstrated. The program will cover reasons for fall arrest, relevant Worker Safety regulations covering fall arrest and how to implement a fall-arrest program.
Details:
This one-day program was developed by a qualified Occupational Health and Safety consultant in compliance with relevant Worker Safety Regulations, and is led by two qualified Instructors. Worker Safety Regulations mandate that employers are responsible to ensure that all employees who work three meters (10 feet) or more above ground are instructed in Fall Protection systems applicable to their respective place of employment and upon receiving training, wear and use the necessary Fall Protection equipment.
Target Audience
Anyone whose work places them more than 3 meters above ground level and at risk of falling.
