EITI PROVIDES CUSTOM TRAINING TO NUNAVUT UTILITY

Nunavut Power Co. hired EITI to provide Powerline Technician Journeyperson Upgrading. The program was very well received. With comments like, “Great Instructors” and “We’ll definitely be back.” The Nunavut training program was a great success. The customized training program was delivered to participants from the Rankin Inlet, Baffin Island and Victoria Island, which are in the Canadian Territory of Nunavut.
The program covered the following topics:
- Underground Safety
- Pole Top/Bucket Truck Rescue
- Confined Space
- Regulators, Capacitors, Reactors and Reclosers
- Transformation
- Substation and facility tours
